The SP-198 uses soft, tough, light kangaroo leather, the same leather used in soccer and baseball spikes. We have built shoes in Fuchu City, Hiroshima since 1933, adjusting the last and pattern to fit the Japanese foot. A staple that surprises in design and moves you when you put it on.
Repairable, so it stays with you for years.
Spingle's wave sole cushions, holds up, and flexes, and it can be repaired, so it stays with you for years. A serious pair you'll still reach for every day. That is what comes of making it by hand ourselves in Fuchu.
