SPM 1005
“ONGAESHI PROJECT” Origami crane sneakers
SPM-1005 is a collaboration model of “ONGAESHI PROJECT”.
The "ONGAESHI Project" aims to transform the 10 million cranes (approximately 10 tons) annually donated to Hiroshima from around the world into recycled paper and thread, instead of storing them as they used to be. It is an activity to upcycle into products.
As a Hiroshima-based company, Spingle Company deeply sympathized with this project, and joint development was realized.
The upper material is an original canvas fabric woven with recycled paper cranes.
The entire shoe is unified in an unbleached color, and custom-made shoelaces made of natural hemp blend are used.
The story in the background is expressed with the name and insole of the paper crane pattern.
